Get a breath of fresh air, relax, enjoy yourself on the spacious deck or help hoist the sails, and… for example, visit the ancient fishing village of Volendam. Those are the ingredients of a day trip. Volendam is and remains an unforgettable experience for everyone! The old fishing village is visited by millions of tourists every year for a reason. Eels and Volendam are inextricably linked. During this package you will enjoy the water and wind on board and you will be given a tour in a Volendam eel smokehouse to lick your fingers at. An unforgettable day for young and old! But a visit to Hoorn, Marken is also possible. How about the Marker Robes or Fort Island Pampus? As long as the sailing time is not too long, a lot can be done. Also think of a sailing barbecue. In short, the possibilities are too many to mention. Please feel free to contact us. Description
Before you board, there has often been a lot of consultation about the interpretation of the day itself. The possibilities are therefore numerous. Competitive sailing, visiting a place nearby, a day of regular sailing or various combined activities are all possible. We recommend that you also use our catering facilities as experience shows that such a day is over before you realize it and all this time needs plenty to experience the day.
You will be received on board at 10:00. From the departure port we sail towards the IJsselmeer or Markermeer. Immediately after lunch, for example, we moor in the port of Volendam, Hoorn, Medemblik or Stavoren where you can take a circular walk on your own. At 18:00 we dock again in the port.

Transfer to and from departure and arrival port is on your own and expense.

Johanna Engelina
The Johanna Engelina is a 38-metre sailing clipper. Built in 1897 and with approx. 900 m² sail on board. All competitions can accommodate up to 33 people. Accompanied by an experienced crew, you will have the chance to experience a very spectacular event. Sailing experience is not required, conviviality is. Every competition also involves an experienced cook. Because with an empty stomach you can’t sail!
The Johanna Engelina is an original Zeeland two-mast clipper. The ship is equipped with a spacious deck for sunbathing or helping with sailing. Below deck you will find a cozy day care, attractive huts and a well-equipped galley.
