The Wadden Race, the last race before we enter winter. This year it will be sailed 31 October, 1 and 2 November. We start in Harlingen. Then we have to get to Den Oever, Texel, Vlieland and Terschelling as quickly as possible. You get to decide the route yourself, and it is by making smart choices there that the most profit can be made. There is even a prize for the ship sailing most according to its own prediction, which the navigator submitted to the race committee on Saturday morning.

The Wadden race is characterised by turbulent weather, night-time sailing and cold weather. A very exciting race with food for many tough sailing stories. In 2019, we did not finish because of stormy winds, which made it irresponsible to continue sailing. In 2020, the race was cancelled due to Corona restrictions. In 2021, we did not finish, but were cosily stranded on Terschelling, also 2022 we had to abandon due to a broken daggerboard. But it will work out sometime, right? So in 2025, we will gladly join you to finally finish this tough race again.
