L’Orange CV has a lot of experience in organizing events on traditional sailing ships, for small and large groups. In addition to sailing, the quality of the care on board plays an important role in the success of your event. Hollands Glorie can provide meals, snacks and drinks for you on these sailing ships.

This catering list opens with a number of catering packages for a fully catered day, afternoon or evening tour on board a traditional sailing ship. If you wish to extend a day trip or afternoon trip for a dinner on board, it is possible to book an evening package. Drinks from the national bar (coffee, tea, milk, soft drinks, beer, white wine, red, wine, gin and skipper’s bitter) are included. Other drinks will be toasted and charged after the cruise. It is not possible to mix or change the packages.

The catering list is supplemented with various separate catering items on board our sailing ships. If you have special catering requirements, which are not included in this catering list, you can contact us so that we can discuss your wishes with the caterer.

You can combine your sailing trip on a traditional sailing ship with onboard entertainment or an onshore activity. If you want such a combination, we can put together a complete daily program in consultation with you.

Service charges
We charge a service fee for the care on board. These are costs incurred for the transport of the catering, the preparation on board, the waiting staff on board and the final cleaning of the ship.

Day trip from 10.00 – 18.00

Afternoon tour from 13.00 – 17.00 or from 14.00 – 18.00

Evening tour from 19.00 – 23.00

If you eat vegetarian, we serve a vegetable skewer, vegetarian burgers and a “vegetarian dish from the ship’s cook” instead of meat.
A barbecue for lunch is also possible.

Special buffets

For all buffets: the minimum number of people is at least 50% of the day trip capacity of the ship (i.e. a minimum of 25 people).

Conditions and details

All prices mentioned are exclusive of VAT. Catering and non-alcoholic drinks are taxed at 6% VAT. Service charges and alcoholic drinks are charged 21% VAT. The catering packages are taxed at 80% with 6% and 20% with 21% VAT.

We can change the number and composition of orders already made up to 7 days before departure. The number of people can only be changed in writing with a bandwidth of 10% of the previously specified guests.

Only one menu or buffet can be ordered per group.

For the donation of our own wines and/or champagne we charge corkage money:
€ 6,00 excl. 21% VAT per opened bottle of wine and € 8,50 excl. 21% VAT per bottle of champagne opened.

Billing of meals and drinks:
We will send you an advance note for catering and/or services (about 90% of the agreed quotation amount). This must be paid for departure. After your cruise, we will send you a final invoice of the used drinks and the final order.

The minimum purchase of the catering is € 400,- excl. VAT for food (excluding drinks and service costs).
