On Friday evening at 20:00 you will board and get acquainted with the ship and the crew. You will spend the night on board. On Saturday mornings, after breakfast, you sail in the early morning. Along the way you can actively sail along. From the deck you have a beautiful view over the IJsselmeer, Markermeer or the Wadden Sea.

After a wonderful sailing trip you will moor at the end of the afternoon in an old port town, such as West-Terschelling, Oudeschild, Stavoren, Volendam, Marken or Muiden. Enjoy a drink on deck, before using the ship’s meal together. After this, there is plenty of time to explore the place. You will spend the night on board again. On Sunday morning you sail back to the boarding port, where you will dim around 17.00 hours.

The final route depends on weather and wind and is determined in consultation with the skipper.

Programma

Hieronder een aantal weekendprogramma’s om een idee te krijgen wat er mogelijk is:

Uitwaaien op de Waddenzee

On Friday evening you will arrive in Harlingen aboard the Johanna Engelina. We’ll spend the night on board. On Saturday morning you leave Harlingen for one of the Wadden Islands. That offers wonderful perspectives. Think, for example, of a visit to Texel. Vlieland or Terschelling.

If we’re lucky, we can dry out on the mudflats. Because the water sinks, the ship ends up on the sandy bottom of the Wadden Sea. You can then disembark and walk across the seabed. Take a walk around the ship and discover what can be seen on the seabed. Make sure you are back on board when the water is rising. Due to the flood, the ship comes loose again and we sail on. We dock at a port where we spend the night on board.

On Sunday mornings, a beach walk can be made in the early part. We leave at our leisure again to the port of Harlingen, where we arrive around 17:00.

Proef de sfeer van het VOC-tijdperk

The weekend starts on Friday evening at 20:00 in Enkhuizen. You will come on board with your company and be received by the crew. The night will take you on board, in the port of Enkhuizen.

After breakfast on Saturday morning, the bunches go loose and you sail via the IJsselmeer to Stavoren. Along the way you sail along the wide IJsselmeer and you can actively sail along. At lunch we pass the Lock of Starum. Then we sail via the Prinses Margrietkanaal (under sail!) to the Fluessen to barbeque on an uninhabited island

(Nije Krúspôle)

and spend the night there. Enjoy on deck, feel the fresh wind through your hair and – if it’s all right – the sun on your skin.

When you get out of your feathers early on Sunday, you can still make a beautiful delusion and enjoy the awakening nature. By noon you will leave the Nije Krúspôle again and the ship will prepare for the retreat to Enkhuizen. You can get back to that around 5 p.m. and the weekend is over.

Verken Friesland in een weekend

You will board in Hoorn at 20:00 on Friday evening and get acquainted with the ship and the crew. You will spend the night on board.

On Saturday mornings you sail in the early afternoon after breakfast. Along the way you can actively sail along. From the deck you have a beautiful view over the Netherlands Waterland. After a wonderful sailing trip on the Markermeer and IJsselmeer, you will moor at the end of the afternoon in Friesland’s oldest city: Stavoren. Have a nice drink on deck, have a barbecue on board or explore Stavoren and eat in a cozy restaurant; everything is negotiable.

The night will take you back on board. On Sunday morning we leave the port and sail back to Hoorn at our leisure. At 5 p.m., the weekend is over.

Proef de sfeer van het VOC-tijdperk

The weekend starts on Friday evening at 20:00 in Monnickendam. You will come on board with your company and be received by the crew. The night will take you on board, in the port of Monnickendam.

After breakfast on Saturday morning, the bunches go loose and you sail via the Gouwzee and the Markermeer to Enkhuizen. Along the way you sail past Marken and Volendam. You can actively sail along during the tour. Enjoy on deck, feel the fresh wind through your hair and – if it’s all right – the sun on your skin. At the end of the afternoon, the ship docks in the old VOC city of Enkhuizen. Take a nice city walk, have a drink on the terrace or prepare the meal on board. The night will take you back to the ship.

When you get out of your feathers early on Sunday, you can pay a short visit to the Zuiderzeemuseum, where you will get a picture of life by the sea. By noon you will leave Enkhuizen again and the ship will prepare for the return to Monnickendam. You can get back to that around 5 p.m. and the weekend is over.
