During the sailing season, the Johanna Engelina participates in various sailing competitions, organized especially for traditional sailing ships on the Markermeer, IJsselmeer and/or the Wadden Sea. You can join one or more people in these spectacular events.

Description

Coming season there are again races planned with the Johanna Engelina.

 

The Johanna Engelina is a 38 meter sail clipper, built in 1897 and with approximately 800m2 of sail on board. All competitions can accommodate up to 31 people. Accompanied by an experienced crew, you will have the chance to experience a very spectacular event. Sailing experience is not required, conviviality is. We sail several races (see overview). All competitions include food, drinks, beer and wine. You have to provide a sleeping bag and waterproof clothing yourself. Johanna Engelina

De Johanna Engelina is een zeilklipper van 38 meter. Gebouwd in 1897 en met ca 800m2 zeil aan boord. Verdeeld over 10 ruime hutten met koud en warm stromend water zijn er 33 bedden. Onder begeleiding van de ervaren bemanning krijg je de kans om met dit gigantische schip te zeilen en de meest unieke plekken op het wad en IJsselmeer te beleven.  Zeilervaring is niet vereist, gezelligheid wel. Bij elke individuelen reis gaat er bovendien een ervaren kok mee. Want met een lege maag kan je niet zeilen!

De Johanna Engelina is een originele Zeeuwse twee-mast klipper. Het schip is voorzien van een een ruim dek om te zonnen of mee te helpen met het zeilen. Benedendeks vindt u een gezellig dagverblijf, sfeervolle hutten en een goed uitgeruste kombuis.
